Lay out all the pieces so you can see what you're working with. Time to get excited—it's assembly time!

For wooden doors:
No need for cushioning here, just go ahead and tighten it up as described!

For glass doors / shower wall thingies:

1. Give the threaded rod a few twists into one half of the handle. Just enough to keep it snug.
2. For glass doors, pop in those silicone washers to keep things cushy and smooth.
3. Push the rod through the door hole and the small pipe piece (this little guy protects your glass from getting scratched). If the little guy is too big, you can leave it out.
4. Screw the other half of the handle onto the rod.
5. Twist from both sides until your handle feels rock solid.

Now step back and admire your handiwork!

Liquid dishwashing soap or a similar mild soap solution is the best choice for daily cleaning. Dried water may leave scaly deposits or other stains on the surface and must be wiped off with, for example, a microfibre cloth.

• A polishing window cleaner can be used to add shine to the surface, if necessary. Universal detergent for institutional use with a pH of 7–9 is suitable for Durat surfaces.
• For cleaning ingrained stains (e.g. coffee or beetroot), we recommend using a magic eraser. Scouring cream can also be used. If the stain cannot be entirely removed, use a liquid dishwasher detergent. If necessary, it can be left to work on the surface overnight. Surface does not absorb anything, stains can always be removed.
• Durat surfaces withstand most types of detergents. By testing according to the instructions above, you can determine what the best cleaning agent will be, such as for institutional cleaning.
• Durat will not be irreparably damaged, even by hard cleaning. It can always be restored to original shine or smoothness.
